TMZ is reporting that 21 year old rapper, Soulja Boy, is dropping $55 million
dollars on a new private jet...a birthday gift to himself this week. The G5 jet
costs $35 million but he's adding an extra $20 mil to pimp out his new ride with
a bigger bathroom, 12 custom Italian leather seats, flat screen TVs, 4 liquor
bars, a special travertine tiled floor, and Brazilian hardwood cabinets...and a
custom paint job that will include his logo. He also spent $300,000 on his
birthday party last night, which was held at a Miami nightclub.
The home of beloved country singer, Patsy Cline, is now open to the public.
Patsy died in a plane crash in 1963, but she still has droves of die-hard fans.
Her home in Winchester, Virginia will open for tours beginning August 2nd. The
house has been renovated and redecorated to look the way that it did when Cline
lived there. At the time, all four family members lived in the one upstairs
bedroom and shared one four-drawer dresser for all of their things.
The suspect in the Alex Trebek burglary case has been officially slapped with a
restraining order. That means fifty-six year old Lucinda Moyers must stay at
least 150 yards away from the Trebeks. The judge also set Moyers' bail at
$625,000 after prosecutors pointed out she had two burglary convictions on her
record from back in the '90s. The Jeopardy host snapped his Achilles tendon
while chasing after the suspect after she allegedly took cash and a bracelet
from his hotel room.
Former New York Yankees pitcher, Hideki Irabu, was found dead Wednesday in his
California home. According to police, it appears he committed suicide by
hanging himself. Hideki played for the Yankees, Expos, and Rangers -- last
pitching in the big leagues in 2002. He won World Series rings with the Yanks in
1998 and 1999. Irabu was 42.
Kim Kardashian's wedding invitation is out and she is getting married on
Saturday, August 20th. The invite says the event will be strictly black tie,
which means a tuxedo. (You do have one in your closet, right?) For women it
means a cocktail dress or a long gown. The ceremony will be held in Montecito,
California, a ritzy neighborhood right next to Santa Barbara. Oprah and Kenny
Loggins have homes there.
Wide receiver, Chad Ochocinco is going to the New England Patriots, leaving the
Cincinnati Bengals behind. For Chad the Bengals will receive two draft picks,
one this year and one next season. The one thing Chad really wants is to bring
his jersey number, 85, (Ochocinco) with him and he says he'll do anything to
make that happen but the number currently belongs to Patriots tight end Aaron
Hernandez. Chad says he'll buy the number from him and money is no object...so
that will be interesting to watch. In 10 seasons, all with the Bengals, Chad
Ochocinco has had 751 catches for 10,783 yards and 66 touchdowns.
Tory Spelling, in an interview with "Good Morning America," says she regrets
having breast implants when she was younger. The 38 year old says she had her
surgery when she was in her 20's and says that if she had known the implants
would or could possibly impact production of milk, she would never had had them
done. Spelling is currently pregnant with her third child with husband Dean
McDermott and says the couple wants to have even more children.
Amy Winehouse's family believes that Amy's sudden abstinence from alcohol might
have been what led to her death last Saturday. They say Amy ignored her doctors
advice when they said she should cut down slowly on the heavy drinking. (is that
possible?) Britain's Sun magazine says the family believes no alcohol was too
much of a shock to her system. The clinical cause of Winehouse's death won't be
known for weeks, pending the completion of toxicology tests.
Talk show host and former soap star, Kelly Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos
are producing a reality show about the off-screen lives of soap opera stars. The
eight-episode series, called "Dirty Soap," will air on E! and follow six soap
stars as they deal with their careers and their real lives. The program will
premiere on September 25th.
Jessica is originally from Marietta, GA! I am probably one of the only real "Atlantans" left! I love Atlanta because there is always something going on, and it's just close enough to the beach to get away for a weekend.
