"Jeopardy" host, Alex Trebek snapped his Achilles tendon Wednesday morning while
he was chasing a female burgler who had taken items out of his hotel room.
56-year-old Lucinda Moyers was booked on felony burglary and possession of
stolen property after allegedly entering Trebek's San Francisco hotel room,
taking cash and a bracelet his mother gave him and then stashing it near an ice
machine on Trebek's floor.

"American Idol" winner Lee DeWyze announced that he's engaged!  He asked Jonna
Walsh, who he's been dating for 8 months to be his wife on a private yacht at
Disney World on July 16th. "They were playing love songs on the boat and I got
down on my knee and asked her" said DeWyze. The couple met last October when
Walsh, a model, turned up for a casting call for DeWyze's video for his single
"Sweet Serendipity." "When you know, you know," he says. "We both feel that way.
We don't need to be together 20 years before we figure it out."  

Actor, Joe Pesci is suing the producers of  "Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father."  
Pesci thought his contract was so tight, he went ahead and gained 30 pounds for
the role...and they they told him they didn't need his services any longer.
Pesci claims in the suit that reps from Fiore Films offered him the critical
role of Angelo Ruggiero, Gotti's close friend and enforcer. Pesci says he made a
deal for $3 million...then the producers pulled out. Now he's left with no deal
and a lot of extra weight. Pesci is suing for $3 million minimum, as well as
punitive damages.

Kat Von D walked off "Good Day L.A." Wednesday because she had a deal with
producers and they didn't hold up their end of the bargain. It was simple. Kat
agreed to answer a question about her breakup from Jesse James on one condition,
that the anchor didn't mention the split in his introduction. The request was
ignored and then she informed them if the script wasn't changed, she would
refuse to go on the air...it wasn't... so she left the building. Later, an executive producer went in front of the cameras to explain that Kat's only prior request was not to bring up Sandra Bullock or Michelle McGee ... a request "Good Day" honored.

In the meantime,  Jesse James, 42, was awarded sole custody of his daughter
Sunny, 7, in an Orange County, Calif., courthouse on Monday. He and his ex,
Janine Lindemulder, have been fighting over the girl for years. According to the
court, if Lindemulder chooses to relocate to Texas to be near Sunny, she'll be
ordered to inpatient rehab. If she remains in California, she'll only get
monitored visitation of her daughter.

Sarah Drew, who plays Dr. April Kepner on "Grey's Anatomy" is having a baby The
actress, 30, is due in January. It will be the first child for Drew and husband
Peter Lanfer.

Amy Winehouse's E! True Hollywood Story special will be rebroadcast on Thursday
(tonight) at 10pm on E! The half-hour special examines Amy's life, including her
rise to fame, her rocky relationship with ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil and her
death. The special, which originally aired on Feb. 9, 2008, also contains
footage of Winehouse performing as a teenager.

Bachelor, Brad Womack, is said to be so crushed by his split from his former
fiancee Emily Maynard that he’s locked himself away in his house and won't see
anybody.  He has also started to badmouth Emily because he feels she's been
telling lies about their relationship, like she did during an interview with
show host, Chris Harrison where she talked about the breakup.

Taylor Swift will be receiving the "Ultimate Choice Award" in recognition of her
"extraordinary contributions to the entertainment industry" when the show airs
on Sunday, August 7th. Fans will be able to watch the Teen Choice 2011 red
carpet and backstage action on a live webcast airing August 7th online at
Teenchoiceawards.com.

Bam Margera is laying in a hospital bed with several possible broken bones.  
Margera fell down the stairs while "tackling" his neighbor in a race to see who
could make it to the top of the stairs first. "Somehow I wound up tumbling down
the stairs." Bam said, "I tackled my neighbor and fell down the stairs horsing
around" Bam says he's still unsure about the extent of his injuries, but he may
have broken his arm and several ribs.

Irish online betting site Paddy Power is taking wagers on a line called "J.Lo's
next boyfriend." Novela heartthrob William Levy leads the pack at 8/11 odds The
two has a steamy video shoot in Mexico for her song, "I'm Into You."
