Tiger Woods' former caddie, Steve Williams, said Thursday that he lost respect for
his partner of 12 years when details of the golf superstar's repeat adultery
emerged. Williams, 47, stood quietly by Woods when the sex scandal broke and getting
fired is not the way he expected to be treated for his loyalty.
"You know, when I write my book, it'll be the time I decide what I write,"
Williams said. "It'll just be one of those interesting chapters in the book."
President Barack Obama was fined $193 for not paying the London congestion
charge during his state visit to Britain, The Sun reported Wednesday. London
mayor Boris Johnson wanted the $16 congestion fee to be paid for the President's
armor-plated limo -- dubbed "The Beast" -- and all other cars during his visit
in May. Cameras only managed to photograph one of the vehicles in Obama's
motorcade because they were driving so close together. That is the subject of
the $193 fine. Johnson is understood to have raised the issue with Obama at a
Buckingham Palace banquet during his visit. All together, foreign embassy staff
owe $81.5 million in unpaid congestion charge fines plus $800,000 in parking
fines. The US is at the top of the list with a $8.1 million bill, followed by
Russia with $7.2 million.
Chris Brown claims he's being set up and blamed for carving his initials into
the elevator at his Hollywood condo building. An accusation he says is not
true. He says a neighbor did it to make him look like a "reckless punk."
According to TMZ, Brown's neighbors do not like him at all and have complained
to the building manager about noise, parking violations and the defacing of the
elevator since the singer moved in a few months ago. Brown took to his twitter
account to deny the allegations. As for the TMZ photos showing Brown parking in
handicapped spaces, Brown explained, "My parking spaces in my building that were
assigned to me when I [bought] this crib are painted over with handicap and no
Parking signs." He added, "A person should be able to live in his or her own
company of their house! I'm barely home so these stories and accusations are so
childish!"
The guy who pulled a gun on actor, Kal Penn and stole his wallet and government
issued cell phone has been sentenced to 3 years in prison. Marcellus Chambers
plead guilty to felony counts of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon after
pulling a gun on Penn in April 2010. Penn was working for President Obama at
the time as the Associate Director of the White House Office of Public
Engagement when Chambers took the phone...because of that, the Secret Service
launched its own investigation. The guy never stood a chance.
Judge Sautner made it clear, that Lindsay Lohan had better complete her
community service hours within 1 year of the date of sentencing or she could be
sent to jail. The judge said she doesn't want to hear "Oh, I couldn't do it
because I was on the set of the John Gotti movie." The judge was frustrated that
after 2 months, Lindsay has only completed 4 of 60 days of community service.
The judge was also upset that Lindsay had not enrolled in psychological
counseling as she's required to do. The judge is giving her 21 days to sign up
with a personal counselor. Judge Sautner made it very clear -- if Lindsay
doesn't get her act together, the judge will revoke her probation.
Arnold Schwarzenegger has filed his response to Maria Shriver's divorce
petition, and the former couple disagree on whether Maria should get spousal
support. Maria asked for spousal support in her petition. Arnold doesn't think
it's necessary. Arnold and Maria both, are asking for joint custody of the
couple's two minor children. Maria is also asking Arnold to pay for her
attorney's fees. Arnold's response asks that the judge make each party foot the
bill for their respective lawyers. Because there was no pre-nup and the divorce
took place in California, all earnings and property accumulated during their 25
year marriage will be split 50/50. The two together are estimated to be worth
around $400 million.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge received $323 compensation from British
Airways after the airline's in-flight entertainment broke down on the couple's
10 hour trip home from the states. Prince William and Catherine, whose seats
cost $8,078 each, were given vouchers to use against the cost of future flights
after they were unable to watch movies on their flight. The movies they missed
out on included: "The Fighter" starring Christian Bale, Angelina Jolie's "The
Tourist" and the animated movie "Gnomeo and Juliet."
Jessica is originally from Marietta, GA! I am probably one of the only real "Atlantans" left! I love Atlanta because there is always something going on, and it's just close enough to the beach to get away for a weekend.
