Rapper, Ja Rule, is already in prison and now it looks like he'll be staying a little longer. Ja Rule (real name: Jeffrey Atkins) was sentenced to 28 months in prison for failing to pay federal income tax. He's currently about a month into a separate two-year sentence on weapons charges in New York. He'll serve the two terms concurrently, but since the federal rap is a little bit longer, he could remain in prison for a couple months longer than anticipated.

In an unexpected announcement, DC Comics will release in December a colossal 1,216-page, $150 hardcover volume collecting each of the 52 #1 issues that make up the publisher's superhero relaunch.  "DC Comics: The New 52" breaks down to about $2.88 per comic and is actually a better value than buying each issue individually when they're released September.  Check here for the full list of 52!
