"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" scored the largest debut in Hollywood history with a $168.6 million Friday-Sunday gross.

Among the records set by "Deathly Hallows Part 2" were:
biggest-ever midnight take ($43.5 million);
biggest-ever opening day and single day ($92.1 million);
biggest-ever IMAX opening ($15.5 million).

The Dark Knight set the previous opening-weekend record in 2008 with a $158.4 million Friday-Sunday.

Outside of the United States, the movie brought in a weekend total of $307  million, besting the latest "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie as the biggest-ever overseas opening.

Put it all together, and in the last three days, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 has grossed $475.6 million worldwide....yet another record.

Donald Trump's daughter and "Celebrity Apprentice" mentor, Ivanka, gave birth to a baby girl on Sunday (July 17). It's the first child for her and husband Jared Kushner, publisher of the New York Observer and son of real-estate tycoon, Charles Kushner.  Kushner and Trump will celebrate their second wedding anniversary in October.

Following the lead of Mila Kunis, her "Friends with Benefits" co-star, Justin Timberlake has also accepted an invitation to attend the annual Marine's Ball with a female soldier.  Both were invited via a YouTube video.  "I accept," Timberlake says. "But not because she shouted out one of my songs -- which I do love when they do that, because I'm shameless. And not because she had all those beefcake military guys behind her to intimidate me, although that probably would have worked by itself." So why then? "I don't get asked out -- ever," he continues. "So I was very flattered by that. And I hear she's trained in martial arts, so I'm hoping we can tussle at some point. [Pause] That last part was a joke."

Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey got married Friday, July 15th. The couple, engaged since November, exchanged vow at a small ceremony in an undisclosed island locale. About 35 family members and friends attended. The couple's wedding was filmed for a TLC special that will air on Saturday, July 30th.

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler and his TV reality show fiancee, Kristin Cavallari have set a wedding date...July 7, 2012.  The date was chosen so Cutler can get married, go on his honeymoon and get settled before having to head to training camp in August.

Basketball and realty TV star, Lamar Odom, was involved in a car accident Saturday in New York City.  While Odom was not injured, the person driving the car Lamar was being driven in, struck a motorcyclist and 15 year old boy. Lamar, already in town for a funeral, actually broke down and cried. According to MediaTakeOut.com, which first reported the story, the motorcyclist and the 15-year-old boy were both seriously injured.  Odom's wife, Khloe Kardashian was not in the car.

Cincinnati Bengals running back Cedric Benson was arrested early Sunday morning in Austin, Texas and charged with assault causing bodily injury to a family member. Benson was booked and charged with a Class A misdemeanor. Benson posted a $10,000 bond and was released.

Ray Romano's sitcom, "Men of a Certain Age" has been cancelled.  Romano found out the news while he was on the golf course on Friday.

Emmy winner Drea de Matteo will guest-star on "Californication" next season. She will appear in one episode as Holly, a foul-mouthed stripper who spends a wild day with Hank (David Duchovny).

After two children and seven years of marriage, it's over for Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony.  While the couple says they have come to "an amicable conclusion on all that matters," the two will continue to work on their reality show together. Lopez, 41, and Anthony, 42, married in June 2004 in a secret ceremony at Lopez's Beverly Hills home. They have 3-year-old twins Max and Emme.

Because he wanted to do the show, "X Factor", Simon Cowell rejected $250 million dollars from NBC to becomes a judge on "America's Got Talent".  According to Simon, the new show costs between $2.5 million and $3.5 million per episode.

A 61 year old man was struck and killed Saturday in Vancouver by a taxi used in the Canadian version of the game show "Cash Cab."  A producer for the show was driving the vehicle after finishing production for the day when he struck the man. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he died a short time later. No charges have been filed yet in the incident. All parties involved are cooperating with Vancouver police.
