Britney Spears has gotten in the holiday mood and has decked all the halls of her Los Angeles home with boughs of holly and tons of colorful Christmas lights. It looks like Britney, off her world tour, has spared no expense to get into the holiday spirit....even if it does mean a really big electric bill.

Original "Teen Mom" stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra, who gave up their baby Carly for an open adoption when they were both 16, have set a wedding date. The two are planning on getting married on July 15, 2013. No word on whether MTV will televise the nuptials.

In other "Teen Mom" news, Amber Portwood, the mom of baby Leah has been reported by her probation officer for violating the terms of her agreement. Portwood has reportedly failed to get her GED, complete anger management classes, pay probation fees, set up a college fund for her daughter, and "behave well in society"...all things she was supposed to do to avoid going to jail for abusing her ex-fiance, Gary Shirley, on-camera.  She will have to explain herself or face two years behind bars.

Country singer Rodney Atkins has filed for divorce and his attorney denies the charges that he assaulted his wife last month. Atkins was arrested and charged with domestic assault on November 21st. His wife claims that he assaulted her and tried to smother her with a pillow after a night of heavy drinking. Attorney Rose Palermo said in a statement the allegations of violence are "completely untrue," saying that the couple had an "unfortunate verbal dispute" where their son could hear them. His wife Tammy Jo is seeking full custody of their 10-year-old son Elijah.

Police in Orchard Lake are asking for the public's help in locating a priceless guitar that was stolen from the home of rock and roll legend Bob Seger.  The guitar is a 1978 Gibson electric and is the guitar Seger is holding on the cover of his classic Greatest Hits album.   The guitar, along with a size 22
autographed Shaquille O'neal tennis shoe, a Wii gaming console and a Pandora bracelet with music charms all disappeared while the Segers were moving from one house to another back in August. They say the guitar might be worth $8,000 to $10,000 if sold, but to the artist, it's priceless. If you have any information on any of the items, please call the Orchard Lake Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP.

Jennifer Lopez is  officially marking the end to her marriage to Marc Anthony by selling the clothes, gifts and jewelry he ever gave her...and he gave her a lot reports the Chicago Times. Evidently Jennifer does this every time she breaks up with someone so she won't have any accessories to remind her of the bad times.  She even sold the giant $1.2 million Harry Winston engagement ring from Ben Affleck after the two split in 2004.

Ryan Gosling may not have been named the Sexiest Man title this year, but he's scored another highly prestigious, very important: Time Magazine's "Coolest Person" of 2011. The people behind the decision defined cool as an unshakable calm mixed with a confidence that comes from not needing others.

You knew it was going to happen and it didn't take long for the The Parents Television Council to complain to NBC for signing Howard Stern to the judges panel for "America's Got Talent."  They complain because Stern has a reputation of shock, profanity and obscenity on his ego-centric radio shows. "American's Got Talent" producer, Simon Cowell thinks the Parents Television Council has NOTHING to worry about because if he goes too far, he'll get kicked off. He believes that Stern, who wants to be a serious judge, is smart enough to know where the line is drawn. Stern laughed at the notion that he was only being paid $20 million dollars a year for the position, reminding everyone he signed a five year deal with Sirius XM for $400 million.

Ballantine Books announced Thursday its plans to publish a biography on Simon Cowell. The book, called "Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life Of Simon Cowell," is described as the "definitive biography" on the judge from "The X Factor."  The publisher also says the book will include "direct contributions" from Cowell's friends and enemies. The bio will be penned by Tom Bower who has written 19 books about a variety of politicians and celebrities. The book is slated for a Spring 2012 release.

The 20th season of The Amazing Race premieres Sunday, February 19th. CBS also says that the new season of Undercover Boss premieres on Sunday, January 15th.

"Modern Family" gave all of its stars bikes for Christmas "Best gift ever," says Rico Rodriguez.

With five #1 singles off one album, Katy Perry has been named MTV’s first "artist of the year". The record ties that of Michael Jackson's "Bad" album. The television network, established in 1981, hopes the list will become an annual event. Perry topped Adele after a spirited discussion among MTV’s internal panel of experts. Adele’s "Rolling in the Deep" was chosen top song of 2011 Skrillex was named electronic dance music artist of the year. "Hurricane" was honored by winning the title of "Best Live Performance on MTV" for the year.

It appears that Zac Efron has a new tattoo on his hand... "YOLO" It stands for "you only live once." The tattoo itself isn't all that extraordinary and is located on his hand in a similar spot where his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens has her latest tattoo.

Lauren Scruggs, the model and fashion blogger who was severely injured when she accidentally walked into a spinning plane propeller on December 3rd is recovering very well, but has lost the sight in her left eye. She also lost her left hand and suffered facial and shoulder injuries. "She is in excruciating pain," says her mother. "Please pray for her appetite to return and for her to have the patience to take this journey one day at a time." Scruggs's family and friends regularly update her condition on her Caring Bridge website, and they'veset up a Lauren Scruggs Hope Fund for donations to help with her ongoing care.

ABC has canceled its long-running reality series "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition". The series will end its nine-season run with two episodes on January 6th and January 13th, including the show’s 200th, in which the team builds 7 homes in 7 days for tornado victims in Joplin, Mo. ABC plans to bring the show back occasionally as a special.
