The screw continues to turn in the American Airlines/Alec Baldwin drama.   While
most found Baldwin's appearance on Saturday Night Live where he posed as an
American Airlines captain apologizing to Mr. Baldwin a hoot, the airlines itself
isn't very happy.  The flight attendants union has taken steps to make sure that
neither Baldwin or his character, Jack Donaghy on "30 Rock" ever appear on an
American Airlines flight again.  No decision has yet been made regarding the
sitcom's yanking from the inflight entertainment, though an airline spokesperson
was quick to explain that NBC routinely rotates which programs it offers onboard
the AA flights.

Richard Hatch, who was the very first winner of "Survivor," was released from a
minimum-security prison Monday after serving time for his conviction of tax
evasion. Hatch was sent to prison in 2006 after he was found guilty of not
paying taxes on the $1 million dollar "Survivor" winnings as well as other
additional earnings. Then he went back to jail in 2009 after not keeping up with
the terms of his release. In addition to being on the first season of
"Survivor," Hatch also appeared on "Survivor All-Stars" and "Celebrity
Apprentice."

Lisa Rinna is returning to her roots.  She has signed on to return as Billie
Reed on "Days of Our Lives." The Hollywood Reporter says "she will share
'explosive' scenes with her on-screen mother Kate and her former flame, Bo."

So after winning the Heisman Trophy in New York over the weekend, where do you
suppose Robert Griffin III went? ...to Ground Zero to pay his respects to those
who did there.  The Griffins are a military family and spent several hours at
the memorial before heading downtown for a shopping trip followed by a night out
in a limo with Heisman candidates Trent Richardson, Andrew Luck, Montee Ball,
and Tyrann Mathieu.

People are still talking about Rachael Crow being eliminated from "The X
Factor".  Now comes word that it may have been fellow judge, Paula Abdul who
whispered to Nicole Scherzinger on how to handle the vote decision. It's being
reported that Paula's mic was down when Nicole was making her decision but in a
review of the video, one can clearly hear Paula whisper to Nicole, "Just let it
go to a deadlock." Nicole did that and Rachel Crow was sent home because she had
fewer votes than Marcus Canty.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and their family will be holding a memorial service
on Wednesday for the baby girl Michelle miscarried.  They named the unborn
child, Jubilee Shalom Duggar.  "We won't be able to see this child's life and
the phases that we've seen for our other children, but we know we will see this
child in heaven one day" said Jim Bob. Jubilee Duggar's memorial service will be
for friends and Duggar family members.

The legal dispute between Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester and her mother has
come to an end.  Leighton had sued her mother in July for misusing her money.
Her mother, Constance Meester, sued back saying she deserved compensation for
helping guide her daughter's career. A judge last week accepted Constance's
decision to rescind her lawsuit. As a result, Leighton is being allowed to
obtain a default judgment against her mother.  In the original complaint,
Leighton said that she had sent her mother $7,500 each month to help with her
brother's medical expenses, but that Constance had used the money for cosmetic
procedures, including plastic surgery, hair extensions and Botox.
