FIT CELEBS
This year's red carpet has been filled with super-fit celebs. iMag put together
a list of female A-listers who were in impeccable shape this year...
More than 100 Occupy Wall Street demonstrators stormed the set built for an
episode of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" across from the Manhattan State
Supreme Courthouse on Thursday. The activity shut down the shoot and the city
then revoked the permits needed to continue filming. Protesters were angered at
being used as part of corporate TV America. "This is bastardization going on.
This is not the case of imitation is a form of flattery," said a man identified
as Scooby 49. "This is insulting." "It's hysterical," said another. "Two weeks
ago they kicked us out of Zuccotti Park. Now they have this set trying to
pretend it’s us. It's odd."
BILLBOARD'S TOP ARTISTS OF THE YEAR
British singer Adele made Billboard history on Friday when she became the first
female singer to be named top artist, have the top album, "21," and score the
top single, "Rolling in the Deep," all in one year. She also received six Grammy
nominations last week.
1. Adele
2. Rihanna
3. Katy Perry
4. Lady Gaga
5. Nicki Minaj
6. Taylor Swift
7. Justin Bieber
8. Chris Brown
9. Lil Wayne
10 Bruno Mars
Angelina Jolie reportedly starves herself on a regular basis. It's not to keep
herself thin, she says, but to bring attention to the plight of the poor.
According to an interview in Us Weekly, Jolie says, If they can’t eat, I can’t
eat so she partakes in different cleanses from around the world. Husband, Brad
Pitt isn't necessarily happy about her not eating and has made her see the
doctor before and after, and they tell him she's fine.
Michael Jackson's 13 year old daughter, Paris Jackson, may be making her acting
debut soon. According to E Online, the family is working on acquiring "Lundon's
Bridge and the Three Keys" which would star Paris as the title character. Based
on the young adult fantasy novel series by Dennis Christen, it's the story of a
young girl kidnapped by the evil Jellyfish Queen of the Ocean. Paris would be
the only human in an animated film.
Alec Baldwin made a surprise appearance on "Saturday Night Live" showing up
during the "Weekend Update with Seth Meyers," portion of the show. Baldwin,
dressed in a pilot's uniform and calling himself Captain Steve Rogers, issued
Baldwin a heartful apology for kicking him off an American Airlines flight last
week. "It was awful, Seth," he told Meyers, "which is why it was very important
for me to come here tonight and on behalf of everyone at American Airlines issue
an apology to Mr. Alec Baldwin."
Lamar Odom has been traded from Las Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks. You
can bet the move and the trauma it brings to his wife, Khloe Kardashian will be
well documented for TV.
George Clooney and Sony Pictures have signed a deal to create a movie about the
story of 1960's comedians Tom and Dicky Smothers. The movie will be based on the
book by David Bianculli, called, "Dangerously Funny: The Uncensored Story Of The
Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour." The Smothers Brothers TV Show ran from 1967-69
on CBS. The brothers squabbled on and off screen and went from squeaky clean
comics to counterculture troublemakers. They were aided by a writing staff that
included Steve Martin, and Rob Reiner. They were ultimately fired from CBS for
their political views.
"X-Factor" contestant Rachel Crow has landed on her soft cat paws.... Disney
bigshots are already tripping all over themselves trying to sign the 13 year old
star who was eliminated from the show last week. Reportedly Disney is interested
in a number of things for Rachael including TV, movies, and radio.
Lindsay Lohan got her purse stolen Saturday night while she was vacationing in
Hawaii. Her purse had all her ID, credit cards, her passport, probation
paperwork and a ton of cash. Lindsay was reportedly at a party and forgot her
$5,000 Chanel purse in the car. When she returned, the purse was gone. Early
Sunday morning, the purse was found by a local, who denied knowing anything
about where the purse had been. Everything was still in the purse, ID, credit
cards, passport...except the $10,000 in cash...in cash! (Try Traveler's Checks
Lindsey!) It's being reported that Lindsey was so happy to get the purse back,
she didn't bother asking about the ten grand.
Joe Paterno fell and fractured his pelvis on Saturday. The 84-year-old former
Penn State football coach was admitted to a local hospital after taking the
tumble at his home, but will not need surgery. He is expected to make a full
recovery.
Former "Smallville" actor Sam Jones checked in to a low-security correctional
facility in Lompoc, California this past week. He will begin his 366-day
sentence for the role his role in a massive drug ring. Jones pled "guilty" to
conspiracy to sell more than 10,000 Oxycodone pills and was sentenced in June.
National League MVP Ryan Braun from the Milwaukee Brewers has tested positive
for performance-enhancing drugs. According to reports, Braun was tested during
the playoffs this year and the results came back with higher than normal levels
of testosterone. The 28 year old is fighting the results, telling the
Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, he's the victim of "highly unusual circumstances"
adding, that he is completely innocent. Braun faces a 50-game suspension if the
results are upheld.
