Entertainment Weekly has confirmed the report that last season's Bachelorette runner-up Ben Flajnik has been chosen as ABC's next Bachelor.  Ben, 28, was one of the last two men standing and was so sure that he was the one, proposed to Ashley Hebert before she had a chance to tell him he wasn't the one.  Woman flooded the network with women who said they wanted Ben so ABC thinks he'll be ratings gold.   

Another reality show couple bites the dust. The "separation" is over and former "Brady Bunch" star Christopher Knight has finally filed for a divorce from his wife, America's Next Top Model season one winner, Adrianne Curry. The two announced they were taking time out to think about their marriage in May. Knight filed divorce papers in L.A. County Superior Court on August 19th.  The two were married for five years and co-starred on "The Surreal Life" together.

While Will Smith and Jada Pinket Smith are denying they are getting a divorce, there certainly is some kind of ripple in the marriage. In Touch Weekly claims in early August Will had become increasingly suspicious that his wife was having an affair with her "HawthoRNe" co-star Marc Anthony and secretly flew home from a movie shoot. The magazine claims Will walked in the house, found Marc Anthony and Jada together and left the house crying. Reps for Will and Jada said Tuesday Jada had not been unfaithful to Will, specifically mentioning Marc Anthony in the denial. Reps say that Anthony had merely stopped by the house to pick up a DVD.

Rodney King is back in the news.  King, whose beating at the hand of police officers caused a riot in Los Angeles years ago, has been charged with
misdemeanor DUI stemming from his arrest on July 12th. King was pulled over after officers claim they witnessed Rodney committing "multiple infractions" behind the wheel. Cops eventually suspected he was under the influence ... and arrested him. King later told CNN he was under the influence of a "medical marijuana prescription." If convicted, King could face jail time.

The FBI is looking into any potential links between a threatening letter and white powder sent to late night host, Craig Ferguson and an Internet threat to
Craig's boss, David Letterman. Detectives from the LAPD's Major Crimes Division were investigating with the FBI and authorities in Europe, where the letter was believed to have originated. Earlier this month, an Internet jihadist threatened to cut out Letterman's tongue. Officials stressed that they have no evidence of a connection but are looking into it.

Showtime and NFL Films have signed a three-year agreement of the long-running football show "Inside the NFL." The series, which began on HBO in 1977 and moved to Showtime in 2008, is anchored by James Brown with NFL vets Cris Collinsworth, Phil Simms and Warren Sapp providing commentary.

After 10 years together, "Roseanne" actress, Sara Gilbert and Allison Adler have ended their relationship. Gilbert, who currently is a co-host on "The Talk" will share custody of their two children, son Levi, 6½, and daughter Sawyer, 4. Gilbert and Adler, a television producer and writer, began dating in 2001.

Kimberly Stewart gave herself a special birthday present this year by giving birthto her first child Sunday, a daughter she named Delilah.  Dad is actor Benicio del Toro, 44.  The two are not a couple.  The baby is the first grandchild for singer Rod Stewart who calls his joy "indescribable".
