Star magazine has officially apologized to actress, Katie Holmes for making it appear she had a drug addiction in a recent issue of their magazine. The tabloid's January 31st issue showed a photo of Katie with a giant headline that read, "Addiction Nightmare: Katie DRUG SHOCKER!"  The article inside was about Scientology and had no mention of Mrs. Tom Cruise. Star's sudden remorse and grand generosity was prompted by the settlement of a $50 million defamation lawsuit that Holmes levied against Star’s parent company, American Media Inc. Financial terms of the settlement were not disclosed.

Steven Tyler was stating the obvious when he said in an interview with Rolling Stone that he wasn't the only member of Aerosmith that was doing drugs during the band's early years. Tyler says he and Joe Perry did drugs together in 2008 after years of sobriety.  They were working on an album at the time and Tyler says Perry was so impaired by snorting prescription pills, he couldn't even play his instrument. Tyler says he was no better... he couldn't sing. Steven Tyler, now a judge on "American Idol" is releasing an autobiography, "Does the Noise in My Head Bother You?" next month. The 63-year-old rocker says he's sober now.

I can't believe they are multiplying!  It's true!  Jersey Shore's Angelina Pivarnick is pregnant.  Sources say that her fiancee, Dave Kovacs is the baby daddy.  The two have been engaged since February.  No word is available yet to Angelina's due date.

Eddie Cibrian's ex, Brandi Glanville, is suing Eddie because she was fighting  with him on the phone when she got into a car accident.  The lawsuit -- filed by the other driver -- claims Brandi ran through a stop sign near her L.A. home and slammed into the back of an SUV back in March, 2010. According to the suit ... Brandi apologized to the woman, and admitted she had been on the phone arguing with her ex-husband. The plaintiff claims she was injured and her car was totaled and she's suing Brandi for about $25,000 in damages. By the way, Brandi says she and newlywed Eddie still fight ALL the time about money.

Mariska Hargitay has filed a lawsuit in New York against the William Morris Endeavor agency because they are trying to get their hands on some of her "Law & Order: SVU" cash.  She says they're not entitled because she fired them long ago. Hargitay claims in 2009 WME tried, but failed, to lock down a deal with NBC to extend her contract for seasons 11 and 12 of "SVU." Hargitay claims she fired WME and went to a rival agency. Hargitay wants a judge to block WME from trying to collect a 10% fee on her earnings.

The real-life mother and manager of retired welterweight champ Micky Ward -- played by Melissa Leo in the movie "The Fighter", passed away Wednesday after doctors took her off life support. Alice Ward went into cardiac arrest in a Boston hospital back in January and was put on life support soon after. Ward was 79.

Paris Hilton sure has more than her share of weirdos hanging around her.  The heiress went to court to testify against an alleged home intruder only to see herself and boyfriend Cy Waits attacked by someone else as they made their way into the building. E! News witnessed the man as he broke through a pack of press and paparazzi and threw water at Waits' face outside the Superior Court building in Van Nuys as the couple made their way toward the court Wednesday afternoon. The man then grabbed Waits' neck before the attacker was dragged to the ground by Hilton's security team who subdued him in a headlock. The guy was the same person who showed up at Paris' home on a bicycle a few months ago. The man, who ID'd himself as James Rainford, later told E! News that all he wanted was an autograph from Hilton and to ask her father, Rick Hilton, for permission to propose to her. Rainford was detained by citizen's arrest and booked for a misdemeanor offense by Van Nuys police. Rainford is currently on probation for misdemeanor assault and there is a restraining order in place against him requiring that he stay at least 200 yards away from Hilton.
