Not only is Justin Timberlake hosting on the season finale of Saturday Night Live on May 21st, Lady Gaga will be the musical guest!

It's a sad time for actor, Tim Robbins. His father Gil passed away 12 days ago at the age of 80 after a battle with prostate cancer. Now Tim's mother, Mary, has died of a heart arrhythmia. She was 78 years old. Tim's parents were married for 59 years.  Gil was a member of 1960s folk band The Highwaymen and Mary studied music at UCLA and performed professionally in the 50s.  Mary and Gil are survived by four children (Tim, Adele, Gabrielle and David) and four grandchildren, including Tim's two sons with Susan Sarandon, Jack, 21, and Miles, 18.

Documentary filmmaker Tim Hetherington was killed Wednesday while working on a project in Libya. According to reports, three photographers who were working with Hetherington were also injured in a skirmish between rebels and government forces. The group was reportedly hit by a rocket propelled grenade. Hetherington was rushed to a hospital with extensive shrapnel wounds but he was already dead by the time he arrived. He was 41-years-old.

More on the Bachelor breakup:  OK! Magazine is now reporting that Emily Maynard has returned her 3 carat Neil Lane diamond ring that he proposed with, back to Brad. Emily reportedly felt too much pressure to move to Texas with her 5-year-old daughter Ricki and to conform to Brad’s lifestyle. "She finally gave up and refused," says an insider. "She said ‘I want my life back.’"

Dr. Michael Kamrava, the doctor who placed all those embryos into the Octomom, is being sued by the owner of the Beverly Hills office where he conducted business. According to the lawsuit,Kamrava "vacated and abandoned" his office on March 15, 2011 without paying off the remaining 6 years left on his lease. Kamrava's rent was $6,231 per month, so that leaves him on the hook for $894,192.65. The California State Medical Board is still deciding whether or not to pull his license after what he did to Nadia Suleman.

The bassist for "TV On The Radio" Gerard Smith, died Wednesday at the age of 34 after battling lung cancer. The band released the news on its website, saying ... "We are very sad to announce the death of our beloved friend and bandmate, Gerard Smith, following a courageous fight against lung cancer. We will miss him terribly."

Lady Gaga says she did NOT ban Weird Al Yankovic from parodying her hit song "Born This Way" even though Al blasated a letter online Wednesday morning that the pop star shut him down about it.  Sources close to Gaga say she's been touring and hasn't even heard the song yet...Al claims Gaga's manager is the one who denied him in the first place ... forcing him to release "Perform This Way" unofficially on YouTube.  (Check out the link under Website of the Day lower down on this post)

(I used to feel compassion for some of these girls on "16 and Pregnant" but now they are showing viewers how stupid they really are....) Jennifer Del Rio, the "16 & Pregnant" mom accused of punching her baby daddy in the face says the guy totally LIED to police ... claiming Josh Smith punched HIMSELF in an effort to set her up.  The two were arguing over the baby and she was pushed into a fence, so she called the police.  She says Josh went in the house and came back out
with a bloody nose and a ripped t-shirt and told her that it was her turn to go to jail. She says it's payback from when he was arrested last November and sent to jail for attacking her.  When the police arrived, neither was arrested over the incident. Jennifer is now going after charges of child endangerment and is trying to obtain a restraining order against Josh.

Programming note: NBC is airing an extended 12-minute sneak peek of its new vocal competition series "The Voice" featuring its four musician coaches, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton as they join to perform Green’s hit song "Crazy" tonight at 11:35-11:47pm.leading into that night’s "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."  A shorter version of the sneak peek will also air two minutes before the beginning of Saturday Night Live.

"Desperate Housewives" star Teri Hatcher says she has been battling a debilitating and rare illness called frozen shoulder, and she says she's basically lost most of functions of her left arm.  She says the condition is extremely painful and has to be treated with cortisone shots until the condition clears up. The actress is currently teaming with Grain Foods Foundation to launch "The Bread Art Project," which benefits Share Our Strength, a non-profit organization that fights childhood hunger.Terri is asking fans to personalize virtual pieces of bread saying "You can create a piece of toast and that will donate one dollar to Share Our Strength.

Three months after leaving a residential treatment center, teen star Demi Lovato has revealed that she not only battles with anorexia and bulimia, but also with bipolar disorder.  She didn't realize she was bipolar until she went into treatment. "Looking back it makes sense," she says of her diagnosis. "There were times when I was so manic, I was writing seven songs in one night and I'd be up until 5:30 in the morning." Lovato says "What's important for me now, is to help others."

Royal Stuff

Prince William is expected to spend a quiet evening with his father Prince Charles at St. James's Palace in London on his last night as a single man.  St. James's Palace is just across Green Park and Buckingham Palace Gardens from the Goring Hotel, where William's bride, Kate Middleton, will spend her last night before the wedding.  William, meanwhile, will be on duty with his helicopter search and rescue unit up until it's time for the wedding rehearsals in London.

Queen Elizabeth hosted a lunch for Kate Middleton's parents Wednesday marking the first time Prince William's future in-laws have met the Queen.

Prince Charles on Wednesday become the longest-serving heir apparent in British history, having waited to take over from Queen Elizabeth II for 59 years, two months and 14 days. Charles was just three when he became heir to the throne.   As Charles' eldest son, William, who marries on April 29th, is second in line to the throne.

A militant Muslim group say they will demonstrate on the day of the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton with hopes of disrupting the event. The Muslim group, an offshoot of the banned al Muhajiroun organization, says that it is planning a "forceful demonstration." Its website carries a picture of a burning Union Jack and pictures of William and other members of the royal family captioned "enemies to Allah." The Metropolitan Police will have 5,000 officers on wedding duty.
