So much to do, so little time.  Last weekend for the  Georgia Apple Fair in Elijay, a MUST for the family, and an easy drive into N.Ga mountains.  If you have time, swing east over to the Alpine village of Helen for October Fest.  

Susan G. Komen for the Cure 3-Day Walk culminating Sunday at Turner Field.  These warriors started at Stone Mountain Friday morning!  Be sure to honk when you see 'em as a way to thank them for "saving second base" !!!  Each entrant had to raise $2300 to walk. HUGE.

Move over Mario!  Road Atlanta hosting Petit LeMans wrapping up today (Saturday).  Patrick Dempsey (McDreamy in Grey's Anatomy) racing with his team.  Tix at the gate ($70) with shuttles from offsite parking.

If you can get out to Little Creek Farm Conservancy today (Saturday), it's their Fall Festival where the kids can enjoy pony rides and some way cool horse demonstrations from Hunter/Jumper to Barrel Racing while raising money for the conservancy (Dekalb County has had to cut funding).  I'll be out there from noon to 3, so come by, just $5 bucks to get in for a great cause...this facility houses "Stride Ahead" horse rescue program.

Falcons have a "bye" week, Bulldogs away in KY, but GA TECH at home with Boston College.  Go Jackets!  Just watch it with traffic on the connector...click the TRAFFIC tab on the home page to see what G-DOT is up to especially on top end 285.
