Remember when you were a kid, and the school week lasted an eternity, and then FINALLY it was Friday...with all the joy and excitement you could possibly contain? (well, now it's an office, right?!)  And NOW try to remember when that ecstatic feeling was dashed by an overzealous teacher that actually gave HOMEWORK OVER THE WEEKEND.  UGGGHHHH. 

I was 7 when we moved here from Houston...we were in Dekalb County for about 6 months then moved to Fulton.  I asked my mom recently why we were in Dekalb for such a short time (I would have gone to Shamrock High School), and she said "they gave you too much homework.  I wanted you to be able to be a kid."  Go Mom !!!  But of course, it didn't stop her from the nightly reminder before bed which always came before did you brush your teeth..."Did you do your homework?"  Boy, we turn into our parents, don't we.  I say it all the time!

Do you believe in homework?  Found an article supporting NO homework!  (I'm sure your kids will agree with it even if you dont)!  Have a great day, and when you get home from work, I hope you can play with your kids as if you're one of them.  Know You're Loved -- JG
