I’m not a huge Idol fan.  I’ve seen it a few times.  And I think it’s funny that other than the very first winner, Kelly Clarkson, I know of more people who did NOT win American Idol…like Daughtry.  He came in 4^th place in Season 5.  And Jennifer Hudson placed 7^th in season 3.  Then there’s Adam Lambert, season 8 runner up with his flamboyant way and kohl eye liner!  Quite the memorable guy, even for a gal who only catches a show here and there.   He’s stepping into Freddie Mercury’s shoes this summer (4 shows with Queen), and his new album “Trespassing” is out today.

It’ll be interesting to see who wins season 11, although I have no idea who’s who on that show (besides the judges)!  Can you believe it’s been on TV for 11 years?!  There’s another round of eliminations tomorrow and Thursday, then NEXT WEEK the last two contestants will battle it out on TUESDAY May 22^nd with results revealed WEDNESDAY May 23^rd .  FOX 5 Atlanta...then you can catch everyone from this season LIVE at the Arena at Gwinnett Center this summer!

For the life of me, I only remember three winners of Idol:  Clarkson, Studdard, and McCreary!  Help???
