When I saw the cover of Time magazine with the breastfeeding toddler, I felt a little disturbed...but couldn't figure out exactly what disturbed me because I think breastfeeding is definitely the way to go no matter what the age. I've seen this before where the child is well beyond infant stages, and although that's great for some, it wasn't for me. And I truly am fine with your choice. And I find attachment parenting a wonderful way to go.
So why did I have a negative reaction to this cover picture? This article from Fox News (and I'm not a Fox News person normally) nailed it for me. Not sure I agree with everything in here, but most of it sure put words to my discomfort. Check out the article here
