Gas price hike prompts more pain at the pump

By Jordan Graye

A while back the hype over huge gas prices this summer made me consider buying a hybrid or electric car when the one I'm driving decides to call it a day (I've had it for almost 9 years now).  I also considered a staycation this summer.  How long has it been since climbing Stone Mountain?  Or spent all day and night at Six Flags or White Water?  Or The GA Aquarium?  Or strolled through Underground Atlanta?  High Museum?  Botanical Garden?  So many fun things to do here in our amazing city, and at a fraction of the cost of driving to the beach.  But now, the media are reporting that prices are falling, and might not make it up to the $5.00/gallon as they'd claimed just a few weeks back.http://bottomline.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/05/08/11602605-government-slashes-forecast-for-summer-gas-prices?lite

With the ending school year looming, do you have summer vaca plans already?  If you're like me, you're not even sure when the last day is!!!  Found some dates for ya!
