My co-worker Kelly Stevens of the Vikki and Kelly Morning Show was ragging on me today for wearing my daughter's shoes.  They're sorta like Birkies, easy to slip on, very comfy, and playful...they have writing all over them (got 'em at Heart & Sole boutique in Smyrna)!  The thing is, they were expensive, and she never wore them.  Past-tense because she's already outgrown them!  So it's not like she'll be looking in the closet and yelling at me when she can't find them.

On the other hand, I HAVE looked in my closet for certain shirts or sweaters and couldn't figure out where in the world they could be...until I saw her wearing them!  She's almost my height, and her foot is a size larger than mine.  So grown up, it's scary.   All I can say is "Paybacks are Painful"  (I did the same thing to my mom when I was her age)!

Was there ever a time you needed a shirt, or pair of pants, or shoes and couldn't find them because your child had them?  Short of padlocking your closet, what do you do to curb this?!  Or do you just pick your battles?

Happy Parenting!!!
