I remember seeing Young Frankenstein at Phipps Plaza Movie Theatres back in the mid 70's, and although a lot of the dialogue was over my head at that time, I still had the best time laughing at Marty Feldman, Gene Wilder, the late Madeline Kahn, Cloris Leachman, the late Peter Boyle, and Terri Garr. To this day if I come across it on the boob tube, I must watch it (even though I've seen it a million times)!
I loved when Marty Feldman’s “hump” would move from one side to the other…"it was someone, I think named Abby? Yes, Abby Normal"! And when the horse would always whinny after Frau Blucher spoke! And Madeline Kahn was tremendous: “Tafettaaaaaa”!
So now it's a stage play/musical coming to one of my favorite venues, The Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center, and I have a "walk-on" role Thursday March 28th! YIKES! Check it out here:
