Hailing from Canada, this alternative band of elementary school classmates (the two founding members) formed in 1988 but didn't hit it big til '98 with their Grammy nominated single "One Week" off of their album STUNT. They're a blast in concert, lots of funny banter back and forth in between songs and harmonies to raise goosebumps for sure...Sir Paul McCartney in a 2008 interview said he would love to record with Barenaked Ladies, that their harmonies were amazing and that he and John never had that kind of range. Quite the endorsement!
