Do you watch the opener or just wait til the sports begin? Anticipating if London can out-do China's fantstical opening is sorta sad to me...if we're so busy comparing, then we miss what it actually IS. I wish the "comparing" part could just go away. But then again, it's the OLYMPICS. What are the olympics if not comparing athlete to athlete?! Hmmmm...maybe the comparisons can be held for sports only, and not a theatrical opening ceremony.
All eyes on Phelps and Lochte in swimming, and Gabby Douglas in gymnastics...how many Golds will we take home overall? Check countries with whom we are most competing here and enjoy two weeks of fun and games in London.
