I love to see the musicians on "Dancing With the Stars." I just played a Gavin DeGraw tune (Not Over You), and it reminded me of his stint on season 14. Cute as a button, but don't know much about him. Except he's the son of a detox specialist and a prison guard, born in 1977 (older than I thought). Growing up in the Catskill Mountains of New York, he started singing and playing the piano when he was 8 years old. Have no idea how he came to sign with a record label, but his first album yielded some great songs, with a "famous" one -- I Don't Want to Be -- becoming the theme song to the TV show "One Tree Hill."
So while Gavin only lasted about 5 weeks on Dancing With the Stars back in March, at least his music will last quite a while! Season 15 is coming up soon, and ABC wants to know who you'd like to see stepping on toes and pulling ham strings this fall... vote for your stars here!
