In the south, they are BLINKERS!  Please use them.  It is so important that we know what you're planning to do, but we can't read your mind, so your blinker speaks for you.   Speaking of "speaking", please hang up and drive.   Or if you MUST be on a cell phone while navigating 2 tons of metal through a synchronized bumper car ride, stay in the far right lane known as the "SLOW LANE".  

 When you're on the phone, you can't pay attention to road signs like  "lane ends. merge left."  I am always bowled over by people who disregard what they are supposed to do, then get mad at ME because THEY are in the wrong lane.  You are responsible for getting yourself merged.  Go Merge Yourself!
