Have you ever thought you’d be great at The Amazing Race?  Your chance to knock ‘em nekkid is this Weds!  This is part of an email sent to me from CBS Atlanta:

CBS Atlanta will hold an open casting on Wednesday, August 29th for CBS’s hit series “The Amazing Race” and “Survivor” from 3p to 9p at the Brandsmart USA in Doraville.  The event coincides with the arrival of the CBS Buzz Tour bus, a state-of-the-art mobile studio, traveling across the country to thank viewers for making CBS America’s most watched network.

 “We are excited to see the talent that we know exists in Atlanta,” said Director of Programming and Audience Development, Kenny Lawrence.  “It’s a great opportunity for us to interact with viewers face to face, and to give them a chance to showcase their skills on a blockbuster show like Survivor or Amazing Race.”

But this isn’t just a casting call; CBS Atlanta and the “CBS Buzz Tour” will also provide giveaways and activities spearheaded by Alex Boylan, winner of season two of The Amazing Race.  Boylan will be on hand to give aspiring contestants advice on what to do in their audition to make it stand out.

"The Buzz Tour is a blast and we are very excited about our upcoming stop in Atlanta.  The fact that there will be a casting call for ‘The Amazing Race’ going on while we are there makes it even more exciting.  I hope I can give as much last-minute advice to anyone auditioning to help get them on the show. "

People interested in auditioning for The Amazing Race must be at least 21 years old and Survivor contestants must be at least 18 years old. To audition for either show, the candidate must be a citizen of the United States and be in excellent physical and mental health.   The edge will be given to applicants who are strong-willed, outgoing, adventurous, and to those who have interesting lifestyles.
