I took ballet for the longest time in elementary school...seemed like forever anyway.  My mom always said it was like pulling teeth to get me to my two hour class twice a week  (for us natives it was Atlanta Ballet on Cains Hill Rd in Buckhead near Henri's Bakery).  I spun in my tutu for a few years, and at one point my instructor, Miss Joanne, approached me and another student...a real cute guy named Gill, and asked us if we wanted to be in the Junior Company.  I didn't realize what a compliment it was to be asked, and when I found out I had to be there 6 days a week for 3 hours a pop, I had to pass!  However, the cute guy thought about it...he went to Woodward Acadamy and excelled on 3 different sports teams, the real "jock", and he was only taking ballet to stay toned and fit.  Mind you he was in 9th grade at the time (I was in 8th--when Bobby Barnett was the director).  Gill Boggs said YES to the Junior Company, and ended up dancing for Mikhail Barishnikov in the American Ballet!  TOTAL WOW !!!

I think he's director of  a company in Colorado now.  And although I sometimes wonder what my life would be like had I said "yes" , I don't regret it because I couldn't get through "Point" classes!  (Had I said yes, not sure I'd be able to walk now)!

So fast forward to "So You Think You Can Dance" on the boob tube, and I'm GLUED!  If you love to watch graceful dance of any kind, check out this show IN PERSON at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center in December.

I'm giving away pairs of tix all this week between 9a-2p weekdays for a chance to see these amazing athletes in person...win 'em before you can buy 'em because tix don't go on sale until this Friday.  Click here for presale password !

Thanks so much for waltzing around the office with us!  We appreciate you listening at work. Know You're Loved! --Jg
