What a Show!

Was lucky enough to see Dr. John last night at the Cobb Energy Center...he opened for Cyndi Lauper with a bevvy of bluesy tunes.  It was a "keyboard sandwich" with him in between a grand piano on his left, and a Hammond B3 organ on his right, and playing both at the same time. LOVE THIS MAN! So glad he was inducted into the hall of fame this year back in March.  The cool thing is he spans generations...my MOM took me to this show!  And sitting next to her was a 13 year old girl, granted she was texting the whole time so probably dragged there by HER mom, but nevertheless was exposed to music greatness last night!  Never saw a sexier 70 plus man strut his stuff with a royal blue suit and a walking cane!!!  If you get the chance to see this amazing musician, I highly recommend it.  Hope you're in the right place at the RIGHT time!!!
