I was just talking with a co-worker who was saying she's just not into the holiday spirit this year. The music we're playing helps, but I'm not into it as much as I was this time last year. And this year I'm giving myself permission for that to be OK! One of the symptoms of holiday depression is "high expectations" that aren't met...so I'm lowering the expectation! When I let "what is" just be alright, then I relax and feel centered again. Took me a long time to understand that my feelings don't define me...they're just feelings that move through my body, they don't define who I am as a person. Not that I'm gonna be the Grinch this year, but hey, that's ok, too!!! When I let it be OK, then it loses its power over me. It must be a law of Physics!

And remember, "It's All OK"!! No money for gits? It's ok. Don't feel like sending cards? It's ok. Wanna sleep thru it all? It's ok!
