The Global Health Odyssey Museum (GHO) is a small exhibit area with an attached theater. It is both a visitorsâ center and an interactive educational facility. Our mission is to teach all who visit about CDC, public health, and the benefits of prevention. Our outreach efforts are part of CDCâs drive to offer credible health information and to work with partners in the community to prevent health problems. Besides the cafeteria and a souvenir store, the museum is the only part of CDC that is open to the public.
