I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THE ADDITIONS THAT WILL MAKE THIS A TOTAL EMPOWERING, ENLIGHTENING, AND ENTERTAINING EXPERIENCE.***The Monologues are in essence a "Theatrical Production" or "One Woman Shows" that lend a real life rendition of the books “Confessions of a Welfare Mom.”“Confessions of a Welfare Mom” are an Urban Anthology of Personal Experiences. It spotlights women who are currently or have at one point in their life time been on any form of public assistance. The Monologues will offer the audience a deeper look into the many faces of welfare.The women will deliver performances that will emPOWER, uplift, inspire, and will also raise the consciousness about the real social issues many families face; these include as racism, classism, domestic violence, and teen pregnancy just to name a few. The Monologues will remind all of us that there is always hope.
