The City of Chamblee Parks & Recreation annual Fourth of July Celebration offers much more than just fireworks. This annual event takes place on Thursday, July 4 at Keswick Park from 5 – 10 p.m. With free admission, live music from the Mike Veal Band, contests, food andactivities; we invite your family to bring your lawn chairs and blankets to settle in for an evening offun and relaxation.
The free event will kick off with our annual Patriotic Bike Parade starting at Chamblee MiddleSchool (CMS) at 5 p.m. Children are invited to decorate their bicycles, wagons, tricycles, powerwheels or other modes of transportation in a patriotic manner and follow a Chamblee police officerfrom the CMS to Keswick Park. At the event there will be train rides, activity booths and concessions beginning at 5 p.m. This will be followed by a Corn Hole Tournament at 6 p.m. as the Mike Veal Band takes the stage performing a diverse genre of covers including blues, rock, funk andfun. The evening will come to a close with a phenomenal fireworks show set to begin just after dark.
