Presenting the Best of 2012 BronzeLens Film Festival, BronzeLens ReMix gives you the chance to view one of our great films from the 2012 Film Festival.Our offering on April 13 is “Keeper of the Flame”, directed by Brian Michael Nelson. In hurricane and flood-ravaged New Orleans, Mardi Gras Indian culture serves as a pillar of African American community and a symbol of resilience and strength in the face of ongoing adversity. When the Big Chief of a prominent Indian gang dies unexpectedly, he passes the leadership of the tribe on to an unlikely candidate – his young grandson Michael. The director, Brian Michael Nelson, will be present at BronzeLens ReMix as well as members of the Mardi Gras Indian tribe and their magnificent costuming. It will be an evening to remember! Tickets are just $10 plus a small processing fee. Doors open at 6:30p.m.Additionally this month, in recognition of National Autism Month, BronzeLens is pleased also to present, "Colored My Mind: Diagnosis" as our second ReMix feature. This powerful Short Docu-feature by award-winning writer and director Nia T. Hill, was winner of 2012 BronzeLens Awards as “Best Overall” and “Best Short Documentary.” More details will be announced, but save the date for Saturday, April 27.
