IDA-GA Outreach Meeting Decatur Library, Auditorium7:00 p.m. (Check-in begins at 6:45 p.m.) What can an evaluation reveal about the profile of a struggling reader and writer? Psychologists Dr. Leslie Stuart and Dr. Susan Furman will explain what is meant by working memory, processing speed, phonological memory, word retrieval difficulties, etc. and will provide some real life examples of how strengths and weaknesses in these areas may appear. Attendees will be invited to share real life experiences as well and are encouraged to bring testing reports for clarification. This event is free and open to the public.
