For our the first Kill the Bottle event, to be held on 3/17/13 (St. Patrick's Day), we will be tasting Irish whiskey. I have put our grubby paws on a bottle of Irishman's Cask Strength, a beautiful pot distilled Irish whiskey; and this is a rare one with only three bottles coming in to the state of Georgia!! Why would a bourbon bar start with Irish whiskey for their first Kill the Bottle Party? All evidence indicates that the first whiskey to be produced in the world happened in Ireland, so I think it makes sense to start there. Plus, it's St. Patrick's Day!
