For 20 successful years, the Book Festival of the MJCCA has provided our community with a fifteen-day literary extravaganza featuring an exciting lineup of the year?€?s most exceptional authors, speakers, and celebrities. From history to mystery, fact to fiction, politics to religion, and humor to political satire, the Book Festival has something to satisfy every age and interest. Everybody has story. It's time to write yours. Please join us for an intimate and informative evening dedicated to writers and writing. Together with the award-winning and published instructors, Lisa Shore, Zoe Fishman, and Elisa Dimitria Bowman, the MJCCA is proud to offer aspiring writers this exclusive opportunity to learn more about the fundamentals needed to embark on their own writer's journey. Classes in memoir, novel, and screenwriting will begin in April. The evening will cover topics that help new scribes: define their story, find their voice, discover their platform and storytelling vehicle, their audience and their agent.
