The Product Rescue Center provides great hands-on experience in a diverse and social atmosphere. It's ideal for groups of up to 25 people ages eight and up, as well as individuals, families and friends. Multiple groups and individuals are combined to form a single shift, offering great opportunity for your group to meet other groups interested in serving the community.Volunteer Safety Guidelines (All volunteers are required to stay for the entire shift.)·        Ages: 8 years old and older. Adults must accompany high school age and younger. ·        Chaperones: Chaperones must participate as volunteers with youth under age 18. One adult chaperone is needed for every: o   Four children ages 10 and under o   Six children ages 11-13 o   Ten children ages 14-17 ·        Clothing: All volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes. ·        Other:o   This project is not appropriate for those who cannot do moderate lifting (20-40 lbs) or stand for prolonged periods. o   This project may require sorting of frozen or refrigerated items such as meats and dairy products.
