In the Fowler Gallery--Featuring five Atlanta-based artists, including Paul Stephen Benjamin, Jerushia Graham, Henry Leonard, Lynn Marshall-Linnemeir and Nnamdi Okonkwo, the works in this exhibit range in media from prints and sculptures, to collage and fibers. “Reflections from 1965: The Civil Rights Movement,” features nine Ben Shahn prints from the permanent collection in the Kistner Atrium. This exhibition highlights a portfolio of fine art prints created by Shahn for the Lawyers Constitutional Defense Committee of the American Civil Liberties Union in 1965. “The Atlanta Collage Society: SHARED VISIONS,” is featured in the Georgia Gallery. This exhibit showcases Collage Society members’ works created around the theme of diversity.
