The ARGEC is an interdisciplinary, inter-institutional consortium led by Emory University and includes consortium members, Georgia State University, Morehouse School of Medicine and the Atlanta Regional Commission (Area Agency on Aging). Under its cooperative agreement with the Health Services Resources and Services Administration, the funding agency for all national Geriatric Education Centers, the ARGEC is charged with developing and disseminating curricula in Geriatric Medicine for interdisciplinary, inter-professional health providers at all levels of training.
