The Southern Museum of Civil War & Locomotive History in Kennesaw, Georgia, will offer free admission from 9:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, and items in the museum gift shop will be discounted 10 percent for the general public and 20 percent for museum members. From 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Dec. 1, the Southern Museum will also host the family friendly Christmas on the Home Front featuring a living history civil war encampment, re-enactors and period dancing.
