Devoted comedy fans have been turned on to Dave Attell for years. More casual comedy fans might not have been aware of Dave prior to his hit series on Comedy Central, "Insomniac With Dave Attell." Many still remember his live performance during the HBO "Young Comedians" special which aired from the U.S. Comedy and Arts Festival. He was tapped a year later for his own HBO half-hour comedy special. Attell has the kind of talent that prompts a Lorne Michaels to handpick him to be a SNL writer/performer after seeing his first performance on "The Late Show with David Letterman." It is no surprise that Dave has written and performed on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart." No one thinks twice when you learn he?s made numerous appearances on "Late Night with Conan O?Brien."
