In December we will feature Robert RatonyiRobert’s childhood was scarred by fear, upheaval, hunger and loss. At six years, he was left without father or mother in war-ravaged Budapest. He survived despite terrible deprivation and starvation through the courage and generosity of remaining friends and family, including the heroic Swedish diplomat Raoul Wallenberg. Bearing Witness is a product of the Weinberg Center for Holocaust Education at The Breman Museum and is sponsored by Hemschech.
