Our MJCCA Youth Fitness Program, which focuses on running, spinning, and Boot Camp, is carefully designed to promote and enhance physical wellness among our youth. By fostering an environment that further develops fitness at all skill levels, we strive to engender in our children a lifelong passion for personal wellness. Participants will learn the importance of healthy nutrition, proper stretching, core conditioning, technique, pacing, and goal-setting. Our trainers provide the necessary assistance, support, and fitness tools -- all designed to achieve our goal of overall wellness. We encourage sportsmanship, responsibility, and respect in a warm, nurturing, and safe environment. All levels of fitness are welcome. Each participant will set their own goals and be encouraged to participate at the level that is appropriate for them. Participants will learn how to properly set up a spinning bike and the correct form and control to use while spinning. There is also a focus on the importance of healthy nutrition, proper stretching, core conditioning, strength training techniques, goal setting, and ways to make physical fitness fun. All levels of fitness are welcome. Each participant will set their own goals and be encouraged to participate at the level that is appropriate for them. *Participants must be at least 5 ft. tall to participate.
