The MJCCA's Teen Community Service program (TCS) provides any Jewish tween or teen throughout metro Atlanta with meaningful, hands-on service opportunities. Through one- and multi-day projects and community service partnerships, TCS generates a strong connection to Jewish values and committment to Tikkun Olam.

Project Open Hand prepares and delivers food to Atlanta's homebound and terminally ill. Join TCS as we prepare and package meals for those in need. Teens will earn 3 community service hours for participating.
Open to teens in 6th - 12th grade. Pre-registration is required. *Member Price includes BBYO members.
This course includes 30 hours of classroom time (including State-required Alcohol and Drug Awareness training) and 6 additional hours of Behind-the-Wheel training with a licensed driver training instructor.
This program is licensed by the State of Georgia Department of Driver Services. Class meets on Sundays at the MJCCA Dunwoody location. Graduates are eligible for a 10% reduction in insurance premiums and parents are eligible for $150 Georgia Income Tax Credit. Students must be turning 15 before the last class. No permit is required to complete the classroom portion however, students must have a Georgia Learner's Permit to begin the Behind-The-Wheel training.
