Come join us this and every Wednesday for Bellissima's Karaoke Contest and Art Show!! The Karaoke contest will span 5 weeks of actual competition. 4 Weeks of qualifying evenings, and a final night of competition between the finalists from each of the qualifying weeks! THIS WEDNESDAY, February 23rd, will be our kick-off party and practice round. Rules for each stage of the competition will be explained, and our Karaoke KJ's will be availab...le for coaching on song selection and stage presence advice!!! Take advantage and join us THIS WEEK to get yourself ready for the big competition! Singers can perform in order to qualify as many times as they like! Two finalists will be picked each Wednesday by audience applause and and in-house panel of judges. Once you qualify for the finals, you're in. :) All 8 contestants will perform 2 songs during the Finals Event on March 30th for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and fabulous CASH, Gift Certificate, and donated art piece prizes!!! The louder your group of supporters in the first 4 weeks...the better your chance of being in the finals!! So....BRING YOUR FRIENDS TO SCREAM FOR YOU!! :) FINALS NIGHT!! We will have a pre=selected panel of non-partial judges who will judge each finalist based on Overall Performance, Stage Presence, and Audience Entertainment. Prizes will be awarded THAT NIGHT to the top 3 performers! ALSO......Each Wednesday for the next 5 weeks, a local artist will be present during Karaoke selling local, handmade art work and jewelry. The 6 artists featured will also be donating pieces to be given away with the prizes on Finals Night!! Come support your favorite singer, AND gay/gay friendly artists from your community!! As always, Bellissima will have its Wednesday-only drink and beer specials...AND Word of the Night, which can win you special treats from the bar!! $1 Pony Beers! $3 Shortie Shots! and a $6 Specialty Cocktail!
