Sat. Dec. 29 •• 3 – 6pmFor ages 13 to 17Knife Skills & Basics for Teens •• Hands-On Teens can jump-start their cooking skills in this relaxed, fun-filled class. We will get teens safely on their cooking feet, teaching them how to use knives skillfully, safely, and efficiently and the proper way to sharpen and care for knives. They will practice proper techniques and timesaving skills for slicing, dicing, and chopping and in the process, prepare a lovely meal. Students will also learn the basics of sautéing and making a pan sauce. Afterwards, they’ll enjoy sitting down to enjoy the meal that they’ve prepared. Students are requested to please bring a chef’s knife to class, but a knife is not required.
