The idea behind Living Walls is to bring together artists working in the public space (like street artists and graffiti writers) with those who spend their time talking about public space (like urbanists, urban farmers and professors) under the same roof. Living Walls recently picked up the award from the Atlanta Urban Design Commission for best organization of the year, and Creative Loafing put Campana on its list of the “20 People to Watch” in 2012. Living Walls champions folks from the male-dominated world of graffiti and street art, whose pedigrees in trespassing and anonymity are as well cultivated as their knowledge of color palettes. Wyatt Williams in a Creative Loafing article stated that " Campana’s organizational skills are downright remarkable: One might assume that running a nonprofit that specializes in herding stoned cats would require a similar set of skills." WHERE?The High Museum of Artat The Walter Hill Auditorium Address: 1280 Peachtree Street, N.E. Atlanta, Georgia 30309*PARKING IS IN THE WOODRUFF ARTS PARKING GARAGE for $5 per car Parking rates have been discounted by 50% for our group but will still cost $5 per car :( There will be a parking attendant as you enter the garage. Tell them you are here for the Creative Morning Event. Credit cards are accepted, however with a single attendant on-duty, cash transactions tend to be much quicker and prevent the entry line from backing up. Any late arrivers should simply pull a ticket from the machine.  This ticket can be used at the cashier booth to exit the garage and the $5 rate will still be honored.Please carpool is possible! There is also limited metered parking on 14th, 15th, & Peachtree St.Once on sight at the High, follow Creative Mornings signs to the Hill Auditorium.*ALSO- The High is offering a private tour (before opening hours) of the entire museum promptly following the event for FREE of charge! Each event includes a 20 minute lecture, followed by a 20 minute group discussion. The gathering begins at 8:30am with the topic presentation starting at 9:00am and everyone taking off for work at 10am.
