Location: Georgia Tech Catholic Center Description: The campus community is invited to a lecture on "Tertium Quid, the Third Way: Science and Religion," which will focus on the compatibility of science and religion.Speaker Bio: Father Augustine Tran was born in Saigon, Vietnam, but immigrated to the United States in 1974 with his family. He is a priest of the Archdiocese of Atlanta and was ordained in 1998 after studying aerospace engineering at the University of Notre Dame and Georgia Tech and philosophy and theology at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary and the North American College in Rome, Italy. Since his ordination, he has served as a parochial vicar at various parishes around the archdiocese, studied canon law at the Catholic University of America, worked briefly at the tribunal and is currently serving as a theology teacher at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School in Roswell, Ga.Related Links Georgia Tech Catholic Center
