Originally inspired by the bluegrass of Flatt & Scruggs, New York City native B�la Fleck has gone on to become the world's premier banjo player. Since 1998, Fleck has been nominated for over 30 GRAMMYs - in more different categories than anyone in the award's history - and has won a total of 14. He will be joined onstage by virtuosic classic jazz torchbearers Marcus Roberts Trio, led by Roberts on piano, Jason Marsalis on drums and Rodney Jordan on bass.
