He currently serves as an Advisor to Simple Relevance andWiseVet. Chris previously supported the boards ofCardioMEMS, Fidelis SeniorCare, Prenova (acquired by Ecova), and Navini Networks (acquired by Cisco Systems) as an Associate at Arcapita Ventures. Christopher was the Founder & CEO of WisePatient (acquired by Sharecare,Inc. in 2012), a SaaS-based Care Coordination platform connecting Patients and Providers online. Before founding WisePatient, Chris was a Senior Associate at Merrick Ventures, a healthcare and information technology focused venture capital firm in Chicago, IL. While at Merrick Venture Chris supported the corporate development function of Merge Healthcare (NASDAQ:MRGE‎) focusing on mergers & acquisitions and post-merger integration.Prior to joining Merrick Ventures, Christopher spent over three years as an Associate at Arcapita Ventures, the growth‐stage venture capital arm of Arcapita, Inc., evaluating healthcare and information technology related investment opportunities. Prior to Arcapita, Christopher worked in Accenture’s Health and Life Sciences Strategy Practice where he specialized in operational and information technology strategy for integrated delivery networks, academic medical centers, and health plans. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University, a Master’s of Public Health from Emory University, and a Master’s of Business Administration from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
