This event is jointly organized by the Emory Center for Health in Aging and the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center.The forum, titled “The ABC's to Brain Health - What to Keep in Mind,” aims to identify some of the challenges and solutions encountered by Atlanta’s boomer generation.  The main focus is to highlight current health promotion practices that empower older adults to increase their self-management behavior.Forum attendees will receive concrete action steps in the following areas:  • Aging well to preserve your cognitive health - how to keep it   • Brain-Body connections that promote healthy living for disease prevention and modification  • Cardiovascular links among diabetes, dementia and physical activity“The ABC's to Brain Health - What to Keep in Mind,” brings together a variety of experts and stakeholders with a special interest in taking a holistic approach to healthy aging. This forum is open to the community.
