Lord, Aeck {e_description}amp; Sargent worked with the Columbia Theological Seminary on the addition and rehabilitation of the historic Simons-Law dormitory into a state-of-the-art facility with classrooms, large lecture halls, bookstore, mailroom, offices and ample study spaces. The Collegiate Gothic building dates back to the early 1930's. The project is designed sustainably and is targeting LEED Certification. Sustainable strategies include natural daylighting, which will be an important feature for the classrooms and should provide long-term energy savings. The design creates an outdoor education, cloistered courtyard encircled by new and old construction. 0 - 0 USD
