 This course fulfills CE requirements and provides students with a review of pertinent provisions as it relates to the Registered Tax Return Preparer exam. The class is being taught by Enrolled Agent Kesha Haley. This instructor lead class helps you understand the ins and outs of the RTRP competency exam and it qualifies for 12 of the required 15 hours that the IRS requires plus you will get 3 hours of update training.  This course will forfill all required 15 CPE hours. You must have your PTIN in order to receive CE credit with the IRS.What are the details involving the IRS RTRP competency exam? Paid federal tax return preparers must pass an IRS RTRP competency exam to officially become a Registered Tax Return Preparer (RTRP). The IRS has designed the RTRP basic preparer competency exam to cover ethical responsibilities, Form 1040 series, and related schedules and forms. The topics below are not set in stone and should serve as a general outline of potential topics on the IRS RTRP exam.
